Rococo

20-s years of the XVIIIth century. France. The term "Rococo" is derived from the French "rocaille", denoting the ornamental motif of exquisite shape, reminiscent of a seashell. Rococo is often considered a late stage of the Baroque. The first style, provocative and graceful, which is considered to be reckless and irresponsible, which became very popular in other countries and had a tremendous influence on the development of all types of art, especially decorative.
